This month I will be swimming the English Channel over 21 days! That's 1 mile or 64 laps in the pool every day for 21 days. Please sponsor me and follow my journey!

(p.s. Almost 90% of the money I raise will go straight to funding the project;. The remainder will cover my food and accommodation whilst in Uganda and I am paying for my own flights. )

Street collection in London over Christmas

I kickstarted my fundraising journey in December when I went up to London with a team of other volunteers for a street collection. At 7am we all walked from our hostel to various London tube stations in festive attire to stand outside with buckets and card machines until 7pm that evening! I personally opted for a penguin onesie whilst my friend Bethany wore a festive banana costume; we were stationed between Piccadilly and Embankment. It was a very cold, long day but we had great success and I successfully raised £831.48 on that day alone!

Why am I fundraising?

In June I will be heading out with a team of awesome and dedicated volunteers for four weeks to help transform an empty field at a local school in Uganda into a vibrant playground! This charity do some incredible work so please check out their website, I've put the link is below --> :)

Where is your money going?
