Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Sunday 6th April 2025, I am taking part in London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

As a lot of you will know my Grandad had a long battle with cancer, and sadly passed away in 2016. Despite the diagnosis, he remained positive throughout and the majority of the memories I have of him are throughout this time when he was putting on a brave face for those around him. He continued to be the determined man that he was and I will always look up to him for that.

The work of Cancer Research UK enables us to understand and treat this disease in the best way possible, with the hope to one day find a treatment that cures all. However, in the meantime current treatment allows loved ones to spend more years with their families that they did not think they would have. This is a charity close to my heart, and without their research I would not have been able to have spent so much quality time with grandad, which has given me endless happy memories.
