At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

At Specsavers Warrington Home Visits, we provide primary care to those who are unable to visit one of our stores. Many of our patients are living with dementia and find it difficult to get the care they need on the high street. We pride ourselves on being able to offer essential primary eye care in the comfort of their own homes - providing a safe environment and a tailored examination for each and every patient. On 19th November we will be running the Tatton Park 10k with hopes to raise £1000 for Alzheimer’s Society.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.

Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
