Story

October 2025 is Breast Cancer Awareness month…. It is also my final month of chemotherapy treatment since my diagnosis with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. My journey ahead is still long….and I need to prepare myself for significant breast surgery in December, followed by radiotherapy and further treatment cycles.

I need a challenge to get stuck into! So during October I am going to attempt to walk 50km during my final chemotherapy rounds to help me start my long journey back to fitness… and to help raise money for The Royal Marsden who have quite literally saved my life through their exceptional care and treatment. I used to run 100km challenges in a month however given I need to take a lay down after hanging the washing out at the moment… this feels like a big enough target to get going with!

Your support and spare change will really make a difference to keeping me going this last month
