England Deaf Rugby Union are taking part in the World Deaf Rugby 7s Championship tournament in Tokyo, Japan.

This championship tournament is held every 4 years but the trip is entirely self funded.

Throughout April England deaf as a collective walked, ran, swam or biked 6000 miles which is the distance to Tokyo.

Becoming a part of England deaf has been unbelievable and surreal, it’s such an amazing experience being able to play the sport I love with likeminded individuals who completely get what it is like to play rugby within a hearing team, but due to England deaf we are also able to play together.

Help us raise funds, awareness and the squad to the World Deaf Championships! England Deaf Rugby Union is a registerd charity and we receive no central funding, relying on our volunteers and players to raise necessary funds to enable our existance.

Can you help us raise much needed funds to take both a mens and womens team to Tokyo and compete on the biggest stage.
