In support of a friend whose daughter was diagnosed shortly before her first birthday, I am participating in the Snowdonia Half Marathon on May 11, 2025, to raise funds for the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG). This leading children's cancer charity is dedicated to improving the treatment and care of children with cancer across the UK and Ireland.

When CCLG was founded in 1977, childhood cancer survival rates were a mere 2 in 10. Today, thanks to relentless research and advocacy, those rates have increased to around 8 in 10.
