Rachel, Shannon, Katie and Sarah have joined forces and plan on running Bristol 10k for Ronald McDonald Bristol in Charlotte's memory.

When Charlotte was poorly and was at the children's hospital in Bristol Ronald McDonald house provided Charlotte's Parents (Rachel and Sarah's sister, Shannon and Katie's Mum and Dad) and siblings a home away from home so they can spend as much time with her as possible.

Charlotte sadly passed away at 6.5 months old, but the support the house gave Charlottes family while she was in Bristol meant they got to spend as much time with her as possible. Which our family are truly thankful for.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children having treatment in hospital.

Our Houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.
