In June last year, my sister and amazing mummy to my niece Maisie, was diagnosed with an incurable rare type of salivary gland cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. Because this cancer is so rare, research and funding are limited. To help raise money and awareness, I’ll be taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5k on June 6th to support further research into this disease.

Anyone who knows me will know that running is not for me, so this should be interesting 😂

Watching my sister go through cancer has made me realise just how many people are fighting this battle every single day. I wanted to do something to help support her and raise money for research that could help others in the future too. I am in complete awe of how incredibly strong and brave Charlotte has been through all of this.

All money raised will go towards Salivary Gland Cancer UK to help fund research and support for those affected by this rare disease.
