LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.

I was doing the walk initially after hearing how amazing LOROS is through friends that have had loved ones use the hospice.

Heartbreakingly I am now also doing this in memory of a wonderful, brave, kind girl and friend, our Becs, who very sadly recently passed away there. I witnessed first hand when visiting there and through what she shared with us, the amazing things they did for her and her family. They are a truly wonderful place.

Every £1 you donate will make a huge difference to people within our area, and will encourage all of us on as we walk in unity on this 10k sponsored walk round Leicester City Centre.
