Story

We have increased our target, lets smash another goal for St Luke's.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

St Luke's Hospice has been Charterhouse Accountants' Charity of the Year for several years, and supporting their incredible work is something that means a great deal to us.

Every year, our team gets together for a Charity Day. Traditionally, we spend half a day volunteering, with one group helping at the St Luke's warehouse and another getting their hands dirty with gardening projects at the Hospice in Kenton. This year, due to renovation works, we're doing something a little different.

The entire Charterhouse team will be taking on the London Bridges Walk, starting at Vauxhall Bridge and finishing at the iconic Tower Bridge, taking in some of London's most famous landmarks along the way.

The Challenge

On 11 September 2026, our team will be walking approximately 8 miles (13 km) across London, crossing nine of the capital's most famous bridges:

• Vauxhall Bridge

• Lambeth Bridge

• Westminster Bridge

• Golden Jubilee Bridge

• Waterloo Bridge

• Blackfriars Bridge

• Southwark Bridge

• London Bridge

• Tower Bridge

The walk is expected to take around 4 to 5 hours, including two well-earned pit stops along the route to rest, refuel and keep spirits high before heading on to the finish line.

Of course, because we're a competitive bunch, we've turned it into a fundraising challenge!

Our employees have been split into two teams led by our Joint Managing Directors, Team David and Team Raj, with one very important goal:

🏆 Which team can raise the most money for St Luke's Hospice?

There may be some bragging rights at stake, but the real winners will be the patients and families supported by St Luke's Hospice.

For almost 40 years, St Luke's Hospice has provided expert end-of-life care and support to local people across Harrow and Brent. They offer compassionate care in people's homes, specialist inpatient services, bereavement support, physiotherapy, complementary therapies and a 24-hour nursing helpline. Their care is available to everyone, regardless of circumstances, but they rely heavily on the generosity of the local community.

Every donation helps St Luke's continue providing comfort, dignity and specialist care to local patients and their families when they need it most.
