I’m taking on a challenge that’s going to push me further than ever before. During this year’s Ashes series, for every run Joe Root scores, I’ll be running 1 kilometre across Australia.

It’s a challenge built on endurance, purpose, and (let’s be honest) a bit of madness — but it’s nothing compared to the challenges many children face every single day.

I’m doing this to raise money and awareness for Save the Children, an incredible organisation working to make sure children everywhere have safety, education, and the chance to build a better future. Their work changes lives, and every donation — big or small — genuinely helps.
