On the morning of 17 September 2026, our beloved dad passed away peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by his family. He was in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff of East Ward at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital, whose professionalism and kindness supported him, and all of us, through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking family and friends to donate to Raising Health, the charity of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, in support of East Ward, so that its staff can go on caring for other patients and families as they cared for ours.

Dad was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a respected business leader and, above all, a person of deep faith. He led with integrity and loved without condition. His warmth filled every room he entered.

The love and kind messages from family, friends, colleagues and associates have meant more to us than we can say. Thank you for your generosity, and for remembering Papa with us.
