Story
Chay Dunning - Team 666
My story begins 20th June 1980 at Hitchin maternity hospital. The next day I was sent to a London hospital with a heart problem that was diagnosed as Transposition of the great arteries. At sixth months old they could do no more for me. This is when my luck began! Magdi Yacoub at the Harefield hospital took me on for a “switch” operation which was still in its early stages.
I am now 45 and going strong. I am disabled after a stroke when I was 6 months old l, but I keep myself fit by going to Leaner Life Gym and boxing training at Stevenage Boxing Club and 666 Gym in Essex.
I owe my life to sir Magdi Yacoub and Harefield hospital. To express my gratitude once again I hope to raise as much money as I can. Please support me and donate
Thank you
Chay
