Tandem Skydive · 23 August 2025

As part of our 200th anniversary, we are proud to support Addenbrookes Charitable Trust, fundraising money for the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital as part of our commitment to the generations of the future.

Story

Cheffins takes to the skies as brave team take part in tandem skydive!

A brave team from Cheffins will be pushing themselves to the limit during a truly nerve-wracking tandem skydive on 23rd August.

With Sarah Bush, Henry Sidebottom, Jack French and Gabriella Mazurkiewicz taking part, the team are taking themselves well out of their comfort zones when they will be leaping from an aeroplane some 10,000 feet above ground in Wimblington, Near March, Cambridgeshire.

Every penny raised from this daring adventure will go directly to the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust to support the build of the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital, as part of Cheffins’ efforts to raise some £200,000 this year as part of the firm’s 200-year anniversary. The monies raised will provide a brand new playroom at this important new hospital, which will serve 1.5 million children and young people living across the East of England.

Sarah Bush, Head of Residential at Cheffins comments: “This tandem skydive is going to really push us all to our limits! None of us have ever done a skydive before, so of course the adrenaline levels are already running high. Please help support us with this crazy venture, which is all for such an important cause. We are working in partnership with the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust to help transform lives for generations to come and this skydive, although terrifying, is only a small part of the fundraising efforts taking place across Cheffins this year.”
