Story
I’m jumping out of a plane for Willow Wood Hospice 🪂
On 20th September 2026, I’ll be doing something that’s been on my bucket list for a long time — a tandem skydive at Black Knights Skydiving Centre, Lancaster.
Yes… I’ll be voluntarily jumping out of a perfectly good plane 😅
I'm super excited! 🤩🤩🤩
I’m doing it for a fantastic cause — Willow Wood Hospice, my local hospice.
Willow Wood isn’t just “a hospice” — it’s a place full of compassion, dignity, and genuinely wonderful people.
Over the years, I’ve attended several events there, including the Garden of Lights at Christmas, the butterfly release, and the Flower Festival — all of which are incredibly moving and thoughtfully done. They create space to reflect, remember, and celebrate life in the most gentle and meaningful ways.
I’ve also taken part in end-of-life training at Willow Wood, and have seen first-hand the kindness, respect, and support they offer — not just to individuals, but to families too.
Willow Wood makes a real difference at some of the hardest moments in life, and hospices rely heavily on fundraising to continue providing that level of care.
The challenge
I’ve paid my deposit and committed to raising at least £500 in sponsorship, so there’s no backing out now!
Skydiving has been on my bucket list for years, and if facing one of my biggest fears helps Willow Wood continue their amazing work, then it feels more than worth it.
Thank you
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful.
If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this page also really helps.
Thank you so much for supporting me — and more importantly, for supporting Willow Wood Hospice and the incredible care they provide
