Story
No one quite gets it like someone who has been there , but they did because they have all been there.
My son Rennie was born at 27 weeks & 5 days weighing a tiny 2.3lbs. Spending 95 days in total in a few different hospitals Spoons were never far from sight offering advice, support, therapy but most of all sharing their stories and experiences. They made NICU feel a lot less of a lonely place and without them my journey would have been a lot more difficult. These people are pretty indescribable. They have all been there. They know that feeling. They have had that trauma. Yet they continue to help and support NICU families day in day out.
For that On Sunday 26th May i will running the Manchester 10K to raise money for Spoons. The money raised will help support them so they can continue to run and help other families going forward . I am also doing this to thank them for what they did for me and my family, it won’t ever be forgotten.
Any money or support you give would mean the world to me, Ryan and of course our Rennie X
