On Sunday 26th April, I will be running the London Marathon for LOROS Hospice in memory of my incredible mum, Sharon Gregory.

In October 2012, my mum was diagnosed with a rare peritoneal cancer and was told she had 24hrs - 14 days left to live. Sadly in November, my mum passed away with her family by her side.

LOROS Hospice provided amazing care and treatment for my mum, and ensured she was comfortable in her final days. Their care also meant she could spend precious time with her family and friends.

Without LOROS, one of her final wishes may never have come true, spending the day with her family in a Hummer Limousine.

My mum had the most infectious smile and laugh, and she was always the life of the party. Not forgetting how incredibly strong she was.

Mum, I will be thinking of you when I cross the finish line x
