Story
We’re delighted to be supporting Young Lives vs Cancer (YLVC), in association with our Principal Partners Mira Showers.
Town will be wearing a one-off third strip for our Sky Bet League Two fixture at home to Grimsby Town on Saturday 24th January.
For a third season running, Mira Showers have donated their front-of-shirt sponsorship to their official charity of the year, as we come together to raise awareness for the vital help and support Young Lives vs Cancer provide.
Every single day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. The word alone can completely change the lives of families all over the world.
Young Lives vs Cancer are there to support those children and young people in the U.K, helping the families face whatever cancer throws at them.
Their teams supported more than 7,000 children and young people during last year, with their Homes from Home saving families over £1.65 million in living costs.
Closer to home, Young Lives vs Cancer supported 89 children and young people in Gloucestershire alone, providing 18 families with free accommodation.
Mira’s logo will be replaced with the Young Lives vs Cancer logo on the shirt, a black strip featuring accents of pink and yellow to match the YLVC branding.
£5 of every single shirt purchase will go to Young Lives vs Cancer. The last two seasons have seen us raise over £12,000 through third shirt campaigns for the Child Poverty Action Group and the British Heart Foundation.
