🚴 600+ Miles, 5 Days, One Great Cause! ❤️

On 3rd September 2026, Michael Gates, Neil Armstrong and Stephen Shields, all from Garstang, will set off on an incredible charity cycle challenge.

We will cycle unsupported from Cherbourg in Northern France to San Sebastián in Spain, covering over 600 miles in just 5 days.

We are raising money for CancerHelp, a small, independent charity that provides vital emotional, physical and social support to patients, carers and families affected by cancer.

CancerHelp supports people through the impact of a cancer diagnosis, the effects of the disease and the side effects of treatment. With one in two people in the UK expected to be affected by cancer, the support they provide is more important than ever.

Through their two day-care centres, based in Preston and Garstang, CancerHelp provides around 6,000 patient visits and contacts every year, offering a wide range of services including counselling, advice, specialist and complementary therapies, self-help, education and information, and bereavement support.

We would be incredibly grateful for any donation, however large or small. Every contribution will help CancerHelp continue the important work they do supporting patients and their families.
