🎭AS many of you know Summer attends Chickenshed Theatre College. She chose to join Chickenshed because she wanted to be in an educational environment where she was included and valued. She previously attended a mainstream college and although she did really well she never really felt part of it and could have got better results with proper additional support for her needs. Summer and other students with additional needs there are struggling to get funding from Student Finance as they only loan you student fees to cover 3 years, this is regardless of how long an individual child needs to be in education or has to repeat years and even having an EHCP doesn't mean the government want to help kids like Summer.

There are so many youngsters out there that can't get enough Student Finance or financial help to attend this ground breaking college and we want to try and help pay for a couple of them. Summer is only entitled to another year of Student Finance after this one but she wants to use it to tmtake her BA Honours Degree as well so that she can then become a drama teacher for kids with additional needs and give the the same opportunity. Chickenshed is the only FULLY INCLUSIVE performing arts college with a fully working theatre in the whole country but if you haven't heard about them here is a little bit of information from their website:

🎭So, we are taking on the HUGE task of raising as much money as possible to help not only Summer but other youngsters with additional needs carry on their education at Chickenshed!

Three of Summer's amazing family friends - Natalie Charlton, Scott McKenna (both employees of Automate Uk) and Martin Astrand have volunteered to throw themselves out of a plane from 15 THOUSAND FEET!! They will be at Old Sarum Airfield on Saturday the 30th of March and by lunchtime will be mid air! Please sponsor them! Any little helps!

We will also be holding raffles, club nights, etc etc so please keep a look out for future events!

All donations will go directly to Chickenshed who will make sure that all funds will got towards kids like Summer's final year and the education and classes of other WELL DESERVING kids! Which is why we would absolutely love to hit the target!
