If you know me, you know I like taking on crazy challenges to raise money for charity! Having already done the London marathon, abseiling, wing walking, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and lots more, I was starting to run out of ideas! But I haven't yet done a swimming event, so that's what I've decided on for my next challenge. It may seem tame compared to some of my other fundraisers, but I figure swimming almost a mile in cold open water will still be a worthwhile challenge!

I'm raising money for Send the right message - they are an Essex based charity who support disabled and neurodivergent children and their families. They are a parent-led charity offering practical guidance, community support and early intervention pathways. We have benefited from their support for a couple of years now and I want to do a little something to give back and help raise funds so they can continue to support other families like ours.
