Ourselves, Steve and David from Safeflow Ventilation have teamed up with Cheryl from Cheryl Bostock & Co to put on a spectacular event, to raise vital funds for people affected by Cancer.

We have all been touched personally by cancer with our family members unfortunately facing a cancer diagnosis. Steve’s Dad sadly passed away in with Cancer. During this difficult time, Steve’s family were supported by Maggie’s Cancer Charity at Clatterbridge Wirral.

Cheryl's Sister, has very sadly recently passed away who received support from Maggie's as well as Cheryl's Dad who is currently living with Bowel Cancer and receving support from Maggie's.

Maggie’s is a beautiful centre just a stone’s throw away from the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Upon stepping into Maggie’s, you’re met with a warm welcome and an expert cancer specialist is on hand to give immediate advice, creating an individual package of support, to meet the needs of people facing the enormity of a cancer diagnosis.

The qualified professionals provide this frontline support for visitors who ‘drop in,’ working side-by-side with them to unpick the personal stresses and the overwhelming challenges they face; identifying ways of helping them manage better, get the best out of their medical treatment; live with consequences of having cancer; and most importantly not ‘lose the joy of living, in the fear of dying.’ Maggie’s provide free practical, emotional, and psychological support for anyone living with and beyond cancer, and because cancer can turn life upside down for the whole family, Maggie’s are there for them too.

We want to raise as much money as possible to help Maggie’s support the thousands of people who walk through their doors every year.

The fun day takes place at Prenton Rugby Club, Prenton Dell Road, Prenton, CH43 3BS, starting at 1:00pm. We are also hoping to host a race night during the evening.
