Cheryl's fundraiser for King's College Hospital Charity

Cheryl charge is raising money for King's College Hospital Charity

Kings Abseile 2026 · 12 September 2026

On Friday 11th and September 12th September, 120 brave and dedicated people will abseil 100ft down the Golden Jubilee Wing to raise vital funds for King's College Hospital Charity.

Story

I am raising money for King’s College Hospital Charity by taking part in their abseil down the Jubilee Wing of the hospital.

This cause is incredibly personal to me. I was diagnosed with severe aplastic anaemia, a rare and serious blood condition, and was treated by the amazing team at King’s College Hospital. Thanks to their care, skill and dedication, I am now in remission, and they continue to support me today.

Put simply, King’s saved my life.

Their work continues to mean so much to our family and friends. King’s is also now treating a young family friend who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, so supporting this charity means helping the hospital continue to care for the people we love when they need it most.

This abseil is my way of giving something back to the hospital and the people who supported me through such a difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help King’s College Hospital Charity continue supporting patients, families and staff.

Thank you so much for your support.
