We’re taking part in a 21 mile walk on Saturday 8th July 23. The 21 miles walking adventure around beautiful Ullswater in the Lake District. I will start and finish in Pooley Bridge and the route takes us past magnificent waterfalls, ancient woodlands and alongside stunning fells to skirt around the most beautiful lake in England.

This is a tough walk covering 21 miles and up to 1000m of ascent so it is expected to be a tough long-distance challenging walk. I will be part of a group fully led by an experienced leader.

We are doing this alongside our Bolton NHS work colleagues on the weekend of the week of the NHS's 75th birthday so I would really like to raise some money for our Bolton NHS charity as I work here and can see the incredible work everyone who works here does on a daily basis.

Together we have worked for the NHS for 36 years, so it holds a special place in our heart and Cheryl is extremely grateful for the care provided by the NHS for her late husband Lee.
