The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hey ❤️

I am organising a fundraising event to support children, Adults and families who live with Autism. With my daughter been Autisic I feel very empowered to help a community in need and encourage everyone to be kind patient and non judgmental to everyone living with Autism.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain. This makes communication learning and development extremely challenging for people and require additional support for every day learning. Some people with ASD are also non verbal and will learn other ways of communicating via language and speech therapy and makton to name a few.

A diagnois takes years and with COVID the wait is even longer which then leaves children left under the radar. This is heartbreaking as these children are in great need of the support to help them over come there daily struggles and be placed in the correct learning environment to ensure they thrive
