In July 2025, I have challenged myself to try to complete at least half of the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike, to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Having been diagnosed with Throat cancer in February and recently finished 30 rounds of radiotherapy, I have experienced first hand the incredible work that MacMillan do to support cancer patients and their families.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £1000 pledge. £250 can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for one day.This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support. Their website provides an enormous amount of information about a huge number of cancers, treatments and side effects (both short and long term).

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
