Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On 8th March 2026, a group of us will be taking on the Great Welsh Marathon to raise vital funds for Solent Mind.
This run is personal to us, after losing Connor on the 20th of September 2017 we didn’t expect to recieve that same phone call 8 years later, however on the 5th of November 2025 ours lives were turned upside down once more

, with the loss of another member of our family to thier mental health struggles. We are hoping by raising this money we can help someone that is struggling get the support they need and prevent another family going through the loss of a loved one through mental health.
We are are running in memory of my uncle Martin, my cousin Connor and our friends who we have tragically lost to mental health struggles. Their loss has left a lasting impact on our lives, and a void that will never be filled, this challenge is our way of honouring them and keeping their memory alive.
We are also running for everyone who is still fighting their own mental health battles every single day — often silently. Mental health affects so many people, yet support can be hard to access when it’s needed most.
Solent Mind provides essential services, advice, and support to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. By donating, you are helping to ensure that more people can receive the understanding, care, and help they deserve.
Every donation, no matter the size, means so much and helps us turn this run into something truly meaningful.
Thank you for your support ❤️
