This year I had a big birthday and decided it was about time I started ticking some things off my bucket list.

I have no idea how the great north run ended up on the list (considering I haven't done any exercise since I left school 😬) But I took up running to escape my noisy house for a hour and realised I actually enjoyed it!

Now that I have my place in the race I decided with a charity on my doorstep and connected to a school close to my heart, I would see if I could raise some money for them!

I have a lot of time for this school and the staff who work so hard to give out kids the best start to their education. I attended this school and so have my daughter's.

I am hoping to raise some money to improve their outdoor areas and enable them to purchase more books and equipment!

I also thought that by racing for school, there is no no way I can back out! How would I ever face the other parents on the yard 😱🤣

I would be very grateful for any sponsors! And also someone at the finishing line with a glass of wine......... I have a feeling I am going to need it !!!!!!
