Story
As part of the Ramadan Appeal 2026, Chesham Masjid invites our community to unite in this blessed month to support those in need.
Allah SWT says in the Qur’an:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Charity extinguishes sins just as water extinguishes fire.”
(Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 614)
Our Fundraising Activities:
Insha’Allah, to help maximise our impact this Ramadan, our community will be taking part in a number of fundraising initiatives. On 7th March, members of our community will be trekking up Mount Snowdon, challenging themselves physically and spiritually to raise funds and awareness for those in need. We will also be hosting a Car and Motorbike Show on 15th March, Insha’Allah bringing families and supporters together for a day of unity, community spirit, and charity. Alongside these events, many more activities and initiatives will take place throughout Ramadan, all aimed at strengthening our community while supporting vital humanitarian causes.
Who We Are Supporting:
This year, Insha’Allah, the funds raised will be distributed between three causes:
50% – Al Qulub Trust
Providing aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza, Syria, and Sudan, Insha’Allah.
30% – Hope Foundation
Supporting those in need in Pakistan, Insha’Allah.
20% – Rafah International
Supporting those in need in Yemen, Insha’Allah.
We encourage our community to give generously and sincerely in this sacred month. May Allah accept our charity, place barakah in our wealth, unite our hearts upon goodness, and make this Ramadan a source of immense reward for us all, Ameen.
