Story
Every Step Makes a Difference
Challenge completed, 12 walkers, 24.6Km (15.3miles) 3 peaks and 960m of ascent, glorious views.
Knutsford with Crewe Catenians are taking on the Cheshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Knutsford Community First Responders Trust (KCFRT) — our chosen charity for this year.
Our challenge is a 24 km walk through the beautiful Cheshire countryside, taking in three of the area's best-known summits:
Tegg's Nose • Shutlingsloe – the "Matterhorn of Cheshire" • Shining Tor
With approximately 862 metres of total ascent, this is no gentle Sunday stroll! We expect the full challenge to take around 6–8 hours, with a very welcome refreshment stop along the way at the Peak View Tea Rooms.
Join us on the day
We'll set off at 9.00am from Tegg's Nose Car Park, close to the Nose Coffee café.
We'd love as many people as possible to get involved. If the full 24 km challenge isn't for you, there will also be a choice of shorter, easier walks starting from Tegg's Nose, so friends, families and supporters can still join us and be part of the day.
Why we're walking
Knutsford Community First Responders Trust is Knutsford Catenians' chosen charity for this year. Its volunteers provide an invaluable service to our local community, responding to medical emergencies and helping people when every minute can make a difference.
By taking on the Cheshire 3 Peaks, we want to show our support for these dedicated volunteers and raise as much money as possible to help them continue their life-saving work.
Please support us by making a donation — however large or small. Every contribution will help, and every step we take will be a step towards supporting this fantastic local charity.
Thank you for your generosity and encouragement.
