CHFT CT is raising money for Bradford Hospitals Charity

Team: CHFT CT department

Hike up Scafell Pike · 4 July 2026

Bradford Hospitals' Charity supports Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to provide funding for equipment, training and research. We also support out staff to achieve this. Our vision is to provide the very best care and treatment for the people of Bradford.

Story

Hello everyone,

We've set up this page to help raise money for Bradford Neonatal who have looked after and cared for our lovely Laura and Graham's superstar twins Mabel and Marley who were born at just over 24 weeks. They've been through ups and downs but Bradford Neonatal have been incredible with their care.

We are raising money for the Neonatal 'Home from Home' appeal. This aims at providing free accomodation for families with babies receiving treatment at Bradford Royal Infirmary's NICU, helping to keep families close to their babies during this difficult time - a worry no parent should have.

10 staff from the CT department at CHFT are taking on the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England on 4th July to raise money for this amazing cause. This is our way of offering support to those who are or have experienced babies needing extra help on the neonatal unit and to thank Bradford Neonatal for all they have done for Mabel, Marley and their family.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you 🩷🩵
