This year, our Golf Club Lady Captain is proud to support the incredible work of the Anthony Nolan Trust as her chosen charity.
Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders by matching them with incredible strangers willing to donate their stem cells. Every day, they give patients and families hope for a second chance at life — but they can only do this thanks to fundraising and generous support.
This charity is especially close to our Lady Captain’s heart and here is why.
Anthony Nolan saved my husband’s life by finding an amazing donor called Lydia from Germany. We will be forever grateful to her and to Anthony Nolan for giving us more time together.
To raise as much as possible, we’ll be taking on an exciting golfing challenge of 72+ holes, alongside a full calendar of fundraising activities throughout the year. From competitions and raffles to special events at the club, we’ll be coming together as a community to make a real difference.
Every donation, big or small, will help:
• Recruit more potential stem cell donors
• Fund lifesaving transplants
• Support patients and their families through treatment
