Story
In September, I’ll be doing something I never imagined I’d sign up for… a skydive.
If you know me, you’ll know that this isn’t on my bucket list! In fact, it’s one of my biggest fears. But as I approach my 50th birthday, I’ve promised myself that I won’t let fear make my decisions. So, what better way to challenge myself than by jumping out of a plane 🫣 for a cause that means so much to our family?
I’m taking part to celebrate 30 years of the incredible Brian House Children’s Hospice.
Our son, Bodhi, has an exceptionally rare genetic condition called Kohlschütter-Tönz Syndrome, which has led to profound disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex medical needs.
Brian House provides specialist respite care, symptom management, end-of-life care when needed, and emotional support for children with life-limiting conditions and the people who love them. They don’t just care for children—they wrap their arms around entire families, offering compassion, dignity and precious moments together during the most challenging times imaginable.
No family ever expects to need a children’s hospice, but knowing Brian House is there brings comfort and hope to so many families like ours.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help them continue providing this extraordinary care, completely free of charge, to families who need it most.
So, while I’ll be facing one of my greatest fears I’ll be doing it knowing that every pound raised will help support children like Bodhi.
Thank you so much for your kindness, encouragement and support. It truly means the world to us. 💜
