Year 6 have teamed up with The George Heath Foundation to try and raise £500 to support Chester Aid to the Homeless (CATH) this Christmas.

They were shocked and saddened when they learned just how many people are homeless in their local area and what they are going through each and every day!

Desperate to raise awareness on the issue in school, Year 6 have gone to great efforts to raise awareness surrounding the issues of homelessness in order to get everybody on board to fundraise as much as they can.

With the money, they hope to buy essential supplies that will support people when moving into temporary accommodation.

Year 6 are aiming to raise £1500 by completing their very own sporting challenge on Well-being Wednesday!

Miss Evans is going to run 1mile on the hour, every hour for 24 hours on Wednesday 29th November and Year 6 are going to help her to do this. They will be running each hour of the school day and the rest of the school will also complete a mile too.
