This Jummah, we come together as a community to support families who have endured the heartbreaking loss of a child.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“When a servant loses his child, Allah, the Exalted, asks the angels: 'Have you taken the soul of My servant’s child?' They say: 'Yes.' Allah then asks: 'What did My servant say?' They reply: 'He praised You and said: 'Indeed, to Allah we belong and indeed, to Him we will return.' Allah then says: 'Build for My servant a house in Paradise and name it the House of Praise.'” (Sahih Bukhari)

May Allah (SWT) grant patience and comfort to those grieving. Let us unite in compassion and support during this difficult time.

Let’s remember the importance of feeding the poor as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The one who feeds a hungry person will be in the shade of Allah’s throne on the Day of Judgment.”
