Hi everyone 👋🏼

So… a group of Children‘s Corner staff are walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise money for our company charity, Changing Stars Malawi! The charity is education based and helps the children and families who need it most in Cape Maclear, a rural village in the heart of Malawi. Many of us who are doing the challenge have had the opportunity to work out in Malawi ourselves, and see what a huge difference the charity has on the children, families and whole communities in Cape Maclear and beyond. We want to raise as much money as possible to help change the stars of the little ones over in Malawi! 🇲🇼❤️

One of the main focuses of the charity, is to provide children with the opportunity to have an education - something that we here in the UK take for granted. Changing Stars works hard to support teachers in a nursery and a school, providing them with training to give the children the best possible provision as well as funding the children’s school fees and providing educational books and resources. Over the past few months, the charity has been raising money and has built a library and vocational centre in the school grounds, aiming to embed a love of reading within children and to provide children and young adults with courses that will support them in a career, and therefore help to bring in a sustainable income.
