Story

We are a dedicated team of Healthcare professionals from the Children's Kidney Centre at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital in Cardiff, and we’re taking on the Cardiff 10K to raise vital funds for Kidney Wales.

Every day, we care for incredible children living with kidney disease—providing support through dialysis, transplants, and long-term treatment. We see first-hand the impact that kidney conditions can have on young lives and their families.

Kidney Wales does amazing work to support these children and fund services that make a real difference. From family support to equipment and research, the charity is a crucial part of the journey for many of our patients.

Kidney Wales also plays a vital role in supporting these families—not just with medical and practical help, but also by bringing joy into tough times. They fund fantastic events like Christmas parties, entertainment nights, and fun activities that brighten up hospital life for the children. These special moments create lasting memories and give the kids something to look forward to, even in the middle of treatment.

By running the Cardiff 10K, we want to give back and help ensure even more children and families get the help they need. Every donation—no matter how big or small—will help us reach our goal and support this amazing cause.

Please donate if you can, and cheer us on! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙
