Story
We will be taking part in the Cotswold Way Trek, a demanding 10-peak challenge that will test our collective strength, stamina, and determination.
This trek is particularly meaningful for our team, as it includes three members who have not undertaken a physical challenge for a long time. Together, we have come to the realisation that prioritising our health and wellbeing is essential, not only in our personal lives, but also within the workplace. By taking on this challenge as a group, we hope to highlight the importance of encouraging a healthier, more supportive culture at work and to inspire others to do the same.
The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation is an integral part of our company and culture. Since its establishment in 1992, it has grown into one of the most successful charitable foundations in the UK, raising and distributing over £143 million to a wide range of good causes. Through its work, the Foundation has supported numerous charities over the years by providing vital grants where they are needed most.
The Foundation’s primary focus is on supporting children and young people who are disadvantaged or have special needs, both in the UK and overseas. It also plays an important role in supporting the hospice movement, cancer-related charities, and, more recently, organisations that help people of all ages facing mental health challenges.
