St John's Hospice China Trek 2026

Holly Robertson is raising money for St John's Hospice North Lancashire and South Lakes

SJH China Trek 2026 · 5 September 2026 to 20 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

This will be the 8th St John’s Hospice trek and our 10th year of trekking, returning to the site of our first ever trek: The Great Wall of China! 2026 will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of St John’s.

Story

St John’s Hospice is a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Our services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. We have been caring for our community every minute of every day since 1986.

This year marks the Hospice's 40th anniversary! In September, a total of 80 like-minded supporters will be taking part in 2 incredible fundraising treks to China, raising vital funds to help ensure that the Hospice can continue caring for our community for the next 40 years.

This June marks my own 40th birthday too. I am extremely privileged to work at St John's Hospice, so I see first-hand exactly what these big fundraisers can do to support patients and their families.

If you can spare any money to support his amazing charity, it would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you 💚
