Growing up with asthma prevented me from participating in some sports and made me feel & think I am not capable of anything athletic/sports related. I had to carry my inhaler wherever I went. I was never into sports and definitely wasn't into running because I didn't think I can. I remember when my asthma got bad, I would be forced to sit at home staying put to use my nebulizer, which felt like forever while other kids were out and playing. My asthma has gotten better since I've become an adult but I still carry my inhaler with me because I still struggle a bit with it when I run at times especially in the summer. I've fallen in love with running and I try my best to not let asthma stop me from doing what I love.

I'm so excited to be running The London Marathon 2024 for Asthma + Lung UK! They're the only UK charity that fights for everyone's right to breathe. Every pound/dollar I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. I would love to see that while being able to do what they love!
