Story
Music has played a huge part in my life growing up. Building friendships, improving my mental health and now as I get older Improving my physical well being too 💃🏻.
It’s very easy to take your body for granted, complain, be lazy…easy to forget how tuff life can be for families and careers of the vulnerable.
For 2 years I’ve watched the amazing work of Nordoff and Robbins in Arch 1 beside PostureHub.
Families traveling decent distances to make the visit to the music therapy arch each week. Knowing how much of a difference the immersion in sounds makes to it’s attendees.
The struggle is real and daily. Support from charities like Nordoff and Robbins can change families lives and allow them to communicate through sound.
This simple railway arch filled with instruments, that bring soooo much happiness to its members.
I am honoured to be running for them in Amsterdam this October🥁 and hope you can support me to the finish line so we can make a difference.
Nordoff and Robbins deliver music therapy to a range of clients across the UK, including some of the most vulnerable people in society.
They meet the growing need for music therapy by training music therapists and ensuring that their skills are not only maintained, but developed.
