Story

Chloe and Russell are taking part in The Benjamin Foundation's Sleep Out 2026!

We are swapping our warm bed for sleeping bags on Friday 13th November, as we spend the night in Norwich Cathedral to raise funds for young homeless people in Norfolk & Suffolk.

The charity delivered over 60,000 safe nights last year for 18-25 year olds. But more than providing a single night of support, The Benjamin Foundation helps young adults towards longer-term, independent living.

That's why we would love to raise £850 - to help an individual secure a tenancy deposit for a place of their own. A set of keys, a front door, a place to call home.

We're under no illusion that sleeping in a safe and supported environment for one night replicates homelessness. It doesn't. The Sleep Out is about raising funds to help prevent youth homelessness and support local young people towards safe, independent lives.

So if you can spare £5, £10, £20, or whatever feels comfortable, we'd genuinely love your support. And if donating isn't possible right now, sharing our page would mean just as much. The more people who see it, the better chance we have of turning our £850 target into someone's deposit.

We'll bring the sleeping bags. You lovely lot help us get to £850. Collectively, we can truly change a young person's immediate and long-term future.

Thank you,

Chloe & Russell
