Three years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and my life turned upside down for a while. I have powered through hideous treatments and horrid side effects thanks in part to the power of tea and cake. 33 rounds of radiotherapy plus 10 more this year

12 rounds of chemotherapy plus 2 more this year

2 stone of steroid weight gained, 2 stone now lost!

2 months in a wheelchair, 2 months walking with a stick, loads of frustrating days suffering double vision, poor balance and fatigued

Uncounted hours of clinical care and kindness from The Guys Neuro-oncology team, visits from fab friends and family and kisses from nurse Twiggy our Cavapoo.
