We’re walking as a family to remember our Brother/Uncle, David Birkett. A gentle giant, accomplished architect and a much loved family man. Alzheimer’s is like ‘a thief in the night’ slowly taking away pieces of memory, thoughts and connectivity, until all that is left is a shell.
