Story
Hi my name is Chloe and here’s alittle story of why I’m rasing money for this charity.
Sadly on the 22nd September 2025 we as a family lost the glue to our family our beloved nan Daphne at the age of 93.
Anyone who had the privilege and honour to know Daphne would of known how much of a speical women she truly was. Her heart was the purest of hearts, full of love, kindness and respect. She was the most selfless person you’d ever meet always making sure people were okay. My Nan was loved by so many by most of all she was loved extra specially by us as a family.
A week before her passing my Nan was in the Severn hospice and from the moment she was there the care given was outstanding not only to my Nan but the support given to us as a family all the way through. Each and every care worker goes above and beyond for each patient, making things as comfortable as possible in such sad times.
My Nan was the most wonderful human being to be on this earth and I’d like to give back to the wonderful charity that made her last week as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Anything donated can make a difference to many families who use the Severn hospice.

Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.
It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you. For every £1 you donate, the hospice will spend 84p directly on care – and use the remaining 16p to make another £1.
Last year, all those individual donations meant the hospice could be there when it mattered for 3,000 local families.
