Have found my feet, now gonna WALK a half marathon for Streetwise Opera

The London Walk 2024 · 22 March 2024 ·
You know I haven't been much of a 'get up and go-er' until the last few years, so walking 20km through the night, across London, will be quite the feat. I'm doing this walk alongside Rachel (who has a longterm relationship with Streetwise) and her sister Claire. A foot-stomping trio.
The London Walk is a night walk through London on 22 March, organised by the London Homelessness Collective. Walking through the night offers an opportunity for reflection on the experience of people who are homeless. Not just people who are forced to sleep on the streets but those who walk through the night, travel on night buses or access 24-hour retail sites in order to stay awake and stay safe. Young people, trans people and women are all especially vulnerable to violence and exploitation.
Streetwise Opera is an opera company that empowers people who have experienced homelessness by providing them with a platform to showcase their creativity and talent. Through singing and creative workshops, participants rebuild their lives and identities while improving their wellbeing and social networks. Streetwise Opera performers reinvent themselves as creators who make the world more beautiful and have the power to bring audiences to their feet. This gives them the confidence and inspiration they need to rebuild their lives.
I am aiming to raise £1,000 for Streetwise Opera, which will go towards supporting their workshops and performances across London, Manchester, and Nottingham. Every donation counts towards making a difference in someone's life.
I'd really appreciate any little something you can donate.
