Over the last 12 months  I’ve been working with Saying Goodbye to implement Baby Loss Leave. We know first hand that for 1 in 4, a positive pregnancy test doesn’t mean you’ll be parents, and 1% of couples will suffer recurring losses.

 The Mariposa Trust (AKA Saying Goodbye) looks to provide support and services to anyone who has suffered the loss of a baby, at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy, whether the loss be recent or historic. In addition, it looks to support people through subsequent pregnancies, fertility treatment and adoption. They are working extremely hard to change the way that society, the NHS and employers deal with baby loss. 

As a personal thank you, Rob and I will be completing a tandem skydive each (and hopefully living to tell the tale). We are raising money for Saying Goodbye to continue in their amazing work, and to close what was a truly horrid chapter of our lives. The skydive itself will be funded by ourselves to ensure all donations go to the charity.
