I’m running my first ever Half Marathon in May 2026 and would like the purpose to be bigger than just running for myself. I’m raising money in aid of Make-A-Wish® UK! 💫✨

Make-A-Wish grant children living with critical illnesses one wish, empowering them with a choice when so much in their life is being decided for them. It gives them something to look forward to, be excited about and also provides special time with their families. These wishes provide an escape from the reality of what is often a life defined by treatment, endless hospital stays and ongoing pain caused by critical illness.

Right now over 134,000 children in the UK are eligible for a wish because they are dealing with the grueling daily reality of life with a critical illness. When it comes to their dreams, they deserve to wish for more than a life defined by their illness. Critical illness brings a childs joy to an abrupt end but Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that grants life-changing wishes that have the power to turn tears into cheers, rescuing the magic of childhood even in their toughest times and providing a lifeline for families to spend precious time together.

This will be my first ever Half Marathon but I’m wanting to push myself and raise money at the same time for an incredible charity. If you’re able to support me, it would truly mean the world and help make a wish come true for someone 🤍
