500 flips preformed on a gymnast bar

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

This year Darcie was diagnosed with autism. We, as a family, had concerns when Darcie was around 1 years old and 3 years later had a formal diagnosis. An autism diagnosis is vital to getting the right help and support. Without a diagnosis many people struggle at school, work or home, develop mental health problems like anxiety or depression - and in some cases end up in crisis or even in hospital.

The national autistic society are there to help the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families. Be it running specialist schools, campaigning for improved rights or training companies on being more autism-friendly.

They are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes.

So with this, Darcie has decided she wants to raise as much money as she possibly can by doing something she loves which is colouring/drawing rainbows AND forward/backward flips on her gym bar. Darcie will be completing 500 flips and as many pictures as she can to reach her target. Please (if you can) sponsor her big or small for doing something so caring, that will go such a long way.

Thank you if you get this far.

(We are also raising money for this charity next year with a big day event - keep an eye out for details!)
