On June 13th I'm taking part in the Summer Wolf Mud Run 10k, which means I will be running through obstacles, a lot of mud and water.

Why am I putting myself through this?

Endangered Rhino Conservation (ERC) combats the war on rhinos by assisting anti-poaching teams, veterinarians, conservationists and air support teams who struggle every day for the rhino’s survival.

I had the opportunity to go out to South Africa on 2 separate occasions and visit a reserve that's on the frontline of trying to save a rhino population.

I got to meet an amazing group of people who dedicate their whole lives to the reserve to which many other species call home. On each visit I felt honoured to get a glimpse of the dedication and hard work that goes into managing a whole reserve and to also see the rhinos in their natural habitat.
